We are excited to announce that Fusion Hill has been showcased in the 2010 Rockport publication, “Design Matters: Portfolios 01”. The 192-page book features unique and creative work in the field of graphic design and we have been recognized for our self-promotional design. Check it out, we’re famous!

From Russia, with Love.

This month our team was back in the (formerly-known-as) U.S.S.R for another round of ethnographic research. This time, despite their tight schedule, the frigid temps and some truly impressive traffic jams, they were able to fit in a little fun. Nothing like a performance of Swan Lake at the Mariinsky Theatre to complete the Russian experience.

Deep South.

We’ve been partnering with commercial photographer Tom Strand over the years –shooting everything from airplanes to people. This month we toured his personal work at Umber Studios – a stunning collection of surrealistic portraits set in the bayous of Louisiana. It put us in the mood for Po’ Boys and gumbo! Ya’ll come back, ya hear?

We’re going retro with these new pin-up girl ads for Hollywood Shapes. Soon, women everywhere will be “Comfortably curvy, yet dangerously sexy” thanks to Hollywood Fashion Tape. Watch out West coast, we’ve got a leg up on fashion!

The Future is Now.

Fusion Hill is proud to announce the launch of NowClinic; a new online care service from OptumHealth. From the beginning stages of the naming process, to designing their entire marketing suite, we feel honored to have been such an integral part of NowClinic’s development. Here’s to good health!

Youth Serum.

This month we set out to gain understanding around women’s perceptions and practices with their skincare and anti-aging products. Do they feel a benefit from their regimen or does their anti-aging/skincare routine feel just plain, routine? We’re going beyond skin deep to find out what it means to look and feel, forever young.

For this year’s staff photo, Fusion Hill brought then eighties back with a photo shoot featuring bad makeup, Aquanet and a desk fan to create “wind” in our (big) hair. Our DIY Glamour Shots were so much fun – we’ve already started brainstorming for next year’s theme. Stay tuned…

Sandwich Sophisticate.

This month our research team asked the hard-hitting, compelling questions we all want answers to. About what, you ask? Sandwiches, that’s what. What defines a hoagie? A grinder? Is cheese a requirement and if so, what are the ramifications of muenster vs. swiss? You may think we’re joking, but we’re finding there’s quite a science behind a satisfying sandwich.

When a world-renowned financial powerhouse wants to establish a stronger presence in their United States market, what are they to do? Why, partner with Fusion Hill of course! After defining their brand, we designed a unique market-appropriate image system that has consumers seeing blue sky as far as the eye can see.
