Giving Back

Together, we’ve done pro bono work to help families, children and aspiring creatives. Individually, we’ve used company time to do work for everything from public radio to the humane society. And we aren’t stopping anytime soon.

Digital Trends
Whether we are having conversations related to home energy, credit cards or health condition management, digital is becoming more and more a part of the conversation. So we decided to take a look at our recent research projects to understand exactly how and why consumers are using (or not using) digital tools.
Generation Z
Adolescents in the U.S. are growing up in a different world than previous generations. They are constantly exposed to television and media, new tech innovations and a rapidly globalizing society. While this changed world has the ability to create important new avenues for growth and development, it also requires society to tackle new challenges for Generation Z and society as a whole: demographics & diversity, financials, health & wellness and education.
Millennials & Health Care
Coining phrases like “Google it” or “Facebook me,” Millennials have never known life without computers and are the first generation to take the digital world for granted. They have a different perception of time, convenience and access, especially when it comes to health care. Often turning to the web as their go-to for education instead of a doctor, they’re accustomed to quickly verifying facts and finding answers to their questions by themselves.
Latinos in America
A group of 54 million people, the Latino population in the United States is roughly 17% – and growing. Latinos have been in the States since the 16th century, but the millions who have immigrated over the last few decades have brought a whole new meaning to the term ``melting pot.``
The New Foodie
Gluten free. Sugar free. Lactose free. Paleo. No trans fats. No preservatives. Ten years ago, most people probably hadn’t even heard of some of these terms, but the last few years have transformed how we think about food. In a landscape of more choices than ever before, many of today’s food trends reflect consumers’ desire to strike a balance between four primary, sometimes conflicting, considerations: health, sustainability, culture and convenience.
Seniors in America
Born in the postwar era, Baby Boomers are commonly known as the generation of optimism and opportunity. As children, they experienced the most stable, intact families in the nation’s history. As adults, they married earlier than any generation within the century and come closest to full employment. Spanning more than 50 years, the group once simply considered ‘the elderly’ or ‘seniors’ is now being divided into various, more specific subsets who differ not only by age but also by personality, life events, consumer habits, social and political influence, and more.
Millennials & Diversity
At over a quarter of the total U.S. population, Millennials are the most ethically and racially diverse generation in our nation’s history. After decades of widespread immigration, U.S.-born children of immigrants are moving into adulthood, and 43% of Millennials identify as non-white. For the Millennial generation, diversity is a mindset — not something determined solely by race or ethnicity.
Millennials & Money
The Millennial generation currently accounts for over a quarter of the total United States population. Born during the savings and loan crisis, they became teenagers in the era of 9/11 and the war in Iraq, watched their families suffer in the 2008 market crash, and entered adulthood during the housing bubble and great recession. On track to be the first generation to face more economic hardship than their predecessors, Millennials see money as difficult to earn and easy to lose.

Over the past 16+ years, we’ve donated our time to FamilyWise, No Time for Poverty, The Brand Lab and more than a dozen other great organizations. It’s a commitment that totals 2,016+ hours per year and is valued at more than $302K annually.
